Cons
This company used to be amazing. It paid below market value, but that trade-off felt worth it because it genuinely supported work–life balance, mental health, and lived its values. The culture felt authentic, and I truly believed this was an enduring organization. After several leadership changes and a large acquisition, it no longer feels like the same place. The stated values feel performative rather than real. Leaders don’t listen to understand, and employees are not treated with respect. Even after successfully completing major projects, recognition is minimal, sometimes not even a simple thank you. Performance reviews are strong, yet compensation increases are capped at around 2%, with no bonuses to reflect the effort and results delivered. The passion, trust, and sense of purpose that once defined this company feel largely gone. The heart and soul have been drained from what used to be a great place to work.
