Pros
It’s a good starting job.
Cons
Most management is very unkind and I’ve had my hours cut back without my knowledge so when I was only scheduled once or maybe three times a week I had no clue because I was originally available everyday after school and the weekend. One of the managers enjoys ridiculing me infront of customers. Redoing all the bagging I’ve done even though I do it the way I was “trained”. They had someone watch me the first day for an hour then trusted me to just figure it out. I had to apologize to multiple customers because I had no actual clue what I was doing. And started to have anxiety issues. I’ve worked 6 hours shifts without a break then when I tell my manager she replies to me that she hasn’t had one either and I need to not be selfish. I’ve also never been told a single guideline they just write me up for things I’m unaware of then tell me days later. It’s not a good place to stay at for a long period of time. I myself have seen multiple people quit this store and I’m planning on joining them too once I have a fall back job.
