Pros
Lasting friendships from store to store, bonus checks twice a year, annual raise, associate recognition via quarterly employee of the month and dinners/lunches/breakfasts around the holidays at some stores. Overall good company as a whole to work for, just have to know how to handle customers the way the company wants you to handle them.
Cons
Asking for a raise is like asking for the winning lottery ticket unless it's your annual raise, in which you're lucky to even get regardless. You can be scheduled whenever depending on the department head, your schedule is either really great or all over the place, never guaranteed any set hours, even if full time you're lucky to get the full 40-hour week. Must work some holidays, so if you have to work and your family is out of town, just count on not celebrating unless you can work out something with the department head. Paying for uniforms that don't even last for very long because they wear out or lose buttons very quickly.
