Pros
You make slightly above minimum wage, I guess
Cons
-Inconsistent scheduling: The schedule is supposed to be posted 2 weeks out, but is constantly changed until right before the start of the next week. They also use wednesday as the start of the week for some reason, so good luck figuring out when you get a weekend off or making plans with anyone. -Misleading: I applied for a full time position but at the interview was told they only had a part time position open. Also, I was scheduled as a cashier despite being hired as a personal shopper. - Understaffed: They barely have enough people to staff the registers, so when people call out they're even more understaffed. I've been asked to skip my breaks by management because they "didn't have enough people". Also, half the time the manager on duty will forget you are supposed to take a meal or break, leading to the break times of everyone else on front end being messed up. Especially if you're on self checkout, good luck getting them to remember you without you continually reminding them. -Minimal training: I was shown how to use the register and the shopping system for less than an hour before I was just thrown onto it. Managers are rude to you if you ask them questions on how to use the system after barely receiving any training.
