Pros
Flexible work schedule/office. Some days you work late, most days you don't. Nobody really seems to care as long as you get your work done. If you like to travel you'll get to do that eventually. CEO has connections that sometimes bring in interesting work. Self-starters can go do well if they play the game. An on-ramp to the world of consulting.
Cons
Not a traditional communications firm AT ALL. The company sells in its own special kind of "communications" that you can learn a lot from but those skills might not be transferrable to your next job. Company likes to hire people early in their careers (they cost less $$$) and that's fine. If that's you just know that you should go in with a plan to squeeze some concrete skills out of the place otherwise you could get stuck there! The talk about equity is mostly hot air, and the pay probably isn't going to be what motivates you.
