1. Pay is very less as compared to the work they give you. 2. The work is too much for no reason. Even if there is no breaking news as such, they will make you work till late hours. Otherwise also you'll have to because they have weird targets for frivolous stories. 3. Because the team is small, you end up getting approvals late which ultimately delays your tasks and you end up spending more than 12hrs working. 4. You can easily expect a creative exhaustion because at the speed at which you're expected to write and no. of articles you are expected to do, you ultimately lose your creativity and start to feel like a machine. And honestly at the point no good editor or team can help you because they themselves are busy churning articles. 5. No career growth opportunities-The people who had been there an year before and I were doing the same work.
