      Location has plenty of parking

      You are a commissioned employee, who is also a cleaning person, janitor and dish washer. You would think, with taking a huge chunk of their employees commissions, that they could provide a cleaning service for the salon. I didn’t get a license, to clean toilets! This salon is driven by numbers/quotas, as is evident by their double booking practices, prior to Covid. Their “continuing education classes” are ridiculously elementary. Asking for time off is a joke. To say this management duo is unprofessional, is an understatement.

      Pros

      I loved that the salon was dedicated to only using the highest quality products. Everything was either non-toxic or organic, or both. I hate it when salons go for the cheap stuff to try and cut corners and make more profit. Also, it brings in a higher quality customer that more than makes up for the cost of the products.

      Keeping the salon clean. I hated cleaning – and still do.

      Micro managing to the ultimate degree, pay was not good with the sliding scale, negative leadership, not suited for seasoned stylists, terrible parking for employees and clients
