Pros
Opportunity to work hard. Great place to start your career and move on. Provides you with the opportunity to learn how to deal with challenges that you might encounter in your future.
Cons
Don't be fooled by quoted salary- it contains required overtime and is dependent upon your managers approval to work required hours. Training is less than appropriate in many cases. You have to figure out what they want you to do and then continuously ask them to teach you. Then don't be surprised if your only option is to take an account out of your area or be demoted to staff and then have your pay rate decreased and then your hours decreased. Lack of communication from managers and directors. All communication requires multiple calls, texts and emails. Keep good records to ensure you aren't left holding the bag. No vacation or sick time until you have worked an entire year. If you don't use it you lose it. That includes leaving the company with earned vacation time- no pay out.
