You will be paid at the lowest pay possible but it is still better than nothing.
Cons
Constant workplace bullying and management does nothing about it because they play favorites big time (certain races, sexy females, etc.) so unless you are a "favorite" just forget going anywhere in the company. Policies change by the minute so you are always confused and being told you are doing things wrong and everyone is on a different page, managers pick, pick, pick every little thing if they don't like and peers can do the same things and they just laugh it off. The more you follow the rules and try to do your job right the more you are hated and again asked why you even bother when no one else does it? No raises in years, but new hires right out of school come in paid higher and they say if you don't like it then quit, reapply and we will hire you back at a higher rate. Benefits inflate, including having to pay extra if you want to pay for your spouse to have insurance, and with the upcoming merger with Beaumont we are all in the dark if our jobs will even be around. As soon as Henry Ford had the Baldridge award in their hands (which we were all coaxed on what to say) they closed one hospital and started laying off layers and layers of management and now we are doing double and triple the work with still no more pay, no hopes of a raise and more and more stress.
