Pros
-Boss willing to offer if you impressed him. -5 working days, No OT. -Auto AL replacement if PH falls on Sat/ Sun. -Work-life balance if you are not reporting under a not-too-unreasonable boss. -No guaranteed bonus, it makes you even more curious when no bonus was given while boss bought a RM400K EV. -Mediocre benefits.
Cons
-You can't expect the construction industry norm applies to this company while working here -- this place is a parallel universe. -They tend to insist to "do it professionally & proper" for petty things but when it comes to serious matters, nobody has the guts. -Tagline: "this is the industry standard.." "we are the professional.." "this is not professional.." "You have to/you got to/you need to/ you must.." -One of the boss will nano-manage you 24/7, and if he makes a mistake, everything is your fault. - Management often doesn't know what they want. They tend to say something ambiguous and vague all the time while expecting you to do the impossible and makes wonder. -One of the departments are nano-managing staff to an extent that they will even call to the workshop and check if a staff reported that he is sending his car to repair. - The blame culture is strong here; everyone is busy pushing away responsibility. -Loves to organize meeting, and the Minute of Meeting is often bias as heck versus the outcome of meeting. As if the drafter of MOM has no responsibility at all. - No career growth at all. The only thing you would learn is probably playing politics with other favorite staff of bosses.
