Pros

Non management is cool so your coworkers are nice to work with.

Cons

In the interview, I was treated like “Why was I there?”. I was questioned on my experience and treated rudely. So I am kind of confused why I was hired in the first place. Management is straight up rude and gives vague reasons for issues. They have no documentation or proof for anything they complain about. I was also treated disrespectfully in company meetings and treated like I don’t know anything or incompetent. They apparently fire a lot of people and can’t keep people around. This was not the impression I was given at my interview. I found out this information through other employees after I accepted the job and started. If I knew what I know now, I never would have interviewed here — much less taken the job. They force you to work in an open office environment downstairs by the front door. There are no boundaries or privacy screens. It is distracting and lowers productivity. When you ask to be moved upstairs where it is quieter, you are denied. They put a white board right behind your chair, so when coworkers have impromptu meetings you are forced to be a part of it. They seem too cheap to actually offer a work environment that is helpful to employee morale and productivity, but have no problem dinging you for “making mistakes”. Maybe mistakes would happen less often if you gave people a decent work space. Additionally, some people have to bring their own computers. They don’t even provide basic office supplies! And you are expected to use your own cell phone for client communication. They don’t provide office phones at your desk. If they find someone who is cheaper and can get the job done “quickly” even if they aren’t thorough, show up late to meetings, forgetful, ask questions they should already know, don’t have as much knowledge on industry practices and miss stuff, they will let you go. Management does not have a good eye for quality people. The people who talk the loudest or the most get the attention or credit, even if they don’t know what they are talking about. Also, certain employees watch YouTube videos or get to leave to watch the World Cup for hours while the rest of the group has to slave away. I dealt with and witnessed mysogynistic views. I wore heels to an event and was indirectly told I should wear flats so I don’t tower over short guys who work there. I also witnessed a client make an intern feel uncomfortable by some inappropriate comments and management thought this was ok, as long as it made them money. Management is passive aggressive, judgemental or downright aggressive. Overly talkative about their personal life and problems, as if everyone else doesn’t have their own problems. They call people out in the middle of the open office environment and say insulting stuff. They also yell in writing with exclamation points and all caps. An absolute horrible way to treat human beings and not sure how they sleep at night.

Pros

I've really enjoy working at HexaGroup. The people are what make the company stand out the most—everyone is friendly, supportive, and easy to work with. It feels like a team where people genuinely want to help each other succeed. The work is interesting and never gets boring, especially with a diverse rosters of clients across different sectors. You're trusted to take ownership of your projects, but there's always someone willing to answer questions or offer guidance when you need it. Leadership is approachable, and it's clear they care about both their employees and their clients. Overall, it's a great place to grow professionally, work with talented people, and be part of a company that values collaboration and doing great work.

Cons

There really aren't any. It's a fast-paced marketing firm, which comes with its share of high-stress moments, but that goes with the territory in this industry.

Pros

I've had an amazing experience working with Hexagroup. The team genuinely cares about doing great work, and there's a real sense of ownership given to people in their roles. I was also positively surprise by how every team member makes us feel welcome and integrated me seamlessly. They also often share with the team the different accomplishments & successes they get with clients which gives us a sense of building & workign for something bigger than ourselves. Huge bonus, they offer lunch every day at the office from nice places, which very few companies do. Leadership is approachable and invested in the team's growth, and the culture feels collaborative rather than siloed. I've learned a lot quickly here, and it genuinely feels like a place where good ideas get heard. They also make sure to organize off-site events every quarter at least which helps with building bonds with the team.

Cons

Like any growing company, things move fast and priorities can shift - so it helps to be comfortable with a bit of ambiguity.
