Pros
If you have an interest in health and wellness, you will be able to expand your knowledge working with large selection of products they carry. They provide adequate training for store sales personnel. They have a decent benefits package.
Cons
Hi-Health uses fear to motivate their employees. This ultimately stems from the management style of their COO, who also micro manages the senior management staff and will not allow them to make even the simplest of decisions. This has created a very toxic environment at both the store and corporate level. Store sales personnel resent the corporate staff because they're constantly being written up for non-compliance of a myriad of infractions. Employees are given sales/performance goals that are unobtainable. COMPANY MORAL IS HORRIBLE! The HUGE turnover rate at BOTH the corporate office and stores should give the owner/president an indication that something/someone needs to change. Hi-Health also has a bad reputation in the industry for taking advantage of their vendors. They operate with a WIN/LOSE mentality rather than WIN/WIN. The atmosphere is negative and depressing. Employees are underpaid and overworked - and made to feel dispensable.
