Pros

A decent choice as your first job

Cons

Internal politics is too much. The employees who are local always push performers down so that their spot is secure. Existing employees have an IQ equal to a frog. No recognition for your hardwork. No work life balance, have to attend useless calls at 2 am in the morning. It's the way the system is set up. The amount of micromanaging by some local managers is hell. They make you feel worthless , when they themselves are a complete package of foolishness.

No proper basic salary structure; income is fully incentive-based Working Time - In interviews HR would say 9:30 to 6:00 which is 8.5 Hours but it will extend to 10/10:30 No proper weekly offs or inconsistent holiday policy even on Festive Holidays High pressure sales environment and Poor work-life balance for sales employees Extremely poor exit process; had to take legal action to receive experience certificate

Becoming a property consultant is harder than becoming an astronaut and the job security is worse than a peanut seller. They make you work for 6 months without salary as a Sales Officer. And if you achieve a target of 6 Crores, then you can become a Property Consultant. They will show like its very easy before you go in. They will give you a lot of hope and belief. Even for the people who have worked many years as property consultant and has made good network of potential buyers and investors, its very difficult to achieve. Every single person in sales department works from 9.30 am to 10.30 pm and mostly more. And like the malayalam saying, "koonummel kuru", a property consultant not achieving the target of 3 cr in 3 months will be depromoted to sales officer (without salary) and it happens a lot. Their whole business model is through the sales department and still they dont respect you. Their whole business will be over and the police and earlier investors will be all over the place if all the people quit at once is sales department. Many people might lose a lot of money because in a way, a lot of what they are doing is illegal.
