Pros

No pros to report here.

Cons

The owner of this company is a real estate broker who should not be in the property management business. He does not have the experience nor the temperament to lead a successful property management team. He has a terrible temper (I witnessed him punching a street sign just outside of the office) and comes off as someone who is used to the Bro's Club mentality at Jameson which is why you see the same job postings here week after week. Will try to nickel and dime you promising "future growth possibilities." Office is a shoebox, no privacy to be on the phone with clients.

High Fidelity Property Management Response
1y
We are truly sorry to hear that your experience at High Fidelity Property Management did not meet your expectations. We take these concerns seriously and want to address them directly. Our goal is to foster a positive and supportive work environment where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to grow. It's disappointing to hear that you felt this was not the case during your time with us.  As for the office environment and concerns about privacy, our office is an open layout concept, like most real estate companies. We have a private conference room that is available for our brokers to use when conducting more private business.  We appreciate your candid feedback and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Working at High Fidelity Property Management has been a rewarding and growth-oriented experience. One of the standout aspects of working here is the leadership of John McGeown, the owner of the company. John’s background as a Navy veteran deeply shapes his approach to management. His leadership combines a strong sense of discipline with a genuine fairness and support. While he sets expectations and goals, he also truly values and rewards our hard work and dedication. This thoughtful balance of accountability and encouragement creates an environment where employees feel motivated to excel and grow. Overall, High Fidelity Property Management is a great place to grow professionally, with strong leadership that values and rewards hard work. If you're looking for a place where your efforts are recognized and where there are opportunities to advance, this is a company worth considering.

Cons

The property management industry can be stressful, especially when dealing with tenant complaints, maintenance emergencies, or leasing complications. The need to resolve problems quickly and effectively can create pressure. This type of fast-paced work environment may not be for everyone.

Pros

No pros found in this failing start up.

Cons

The interview paints a picture of a friendly, approachable boss, but the reality is very different. The environment is run on ego, micromanagement, and unpredictable moods. The boss doubles as a part-time musician and unfortunately brings that frustration and failed-dream energy into the workplace, which makes the culture chaotic and unstable. Turnover is constant, and it’s not hard to see why. Talented people don’t last here, and new hires quickly realize the nice-interview act was just that - an act. Beware
