You can reason with them. They understand the importance of education more than MS students. They bring many different perspectives to your daily teaching.

Students can be moody. If they’re having personal problems (significant other, parental, death/suicide of a friend) it hits them hard. Although this isn’t necessarily a con, as a HS teacher, you need lots of compassion to help them (if they’re open to it).
