Pros
If you're reading this, you're looking for some insight to a prospective employer, hopefully you wont take the negative ones at face value. Highland is a great place to work. The company culture is unlike one you'll find in a corporate setting. Highland very seriously cares about your insight and making a comfortable environment for you to work in. I have seen this company value it's employees to the point of bending over backwards to accommodate a dissatisfied employee. The upper management always has their door open and HR is professional, but down to earth and approachable.. Highland also takes your opinion into consideration and recognizes hard work. Management places alot of trust on each individual, if you're not a self starter, this is not the place for you. You'll love your co workers and the environment and yes your position may require some long hours from time to time, but you're able to move up and have an effective, positive impact on the companies success. I feel as work life management is a personal responsibility, not any demand of the company. You as a Professional. should be able to manage your time effectively. The office is nice as well.
Cons
Operational Process's and team structure need some addressing. It can be frustrating, but the Company is working on it. Highland runs a lot on the basis of individual trust and capability. Unless you speak up and say you have an issue or difficulty, they will assume all is well.
