Pros

Great team environment with great growth potential for those that are willing to learn, and challenge themselves to become better professionals. Management team at Highland Lake is top notch and the staff really cares about what they do. This is a highly competitive environment in the best sense of the word and probably not suited for those that just want to get by. Wages are very competitive and with great benefits. Highly recommend a career path at Season's and/or Highland Lake Inn & Resort.

Cons

Hard to find qualified hand labor in the area, and/or staff that want to grow, learn and aquire greater degrees of responsibility.

Pros

Beautiful property. The restaurant is really great. There's honestly just not enough pros to list here to even meet the minimum required. Sadly. They might seem like they have it all together, but they do not.

Cons

Terrible micro-management in all levels. From the owner down, everyone will second-guess every move you make and every word you speak. You have to be given lessons on how to craft e-mails to specific people so that you don't create an avalanche of emails for other people. Ridiculous. Compensation is ridiculously low, compared to what they expect from you. The rules will change from one week to the next with no warning or explanation. The property itself (the land) is beautiful, but the repairs are just not being done because they do not want to spend the money. You will discover that nobody has been in their positions for very long. I think two years was the max and she was actively looking for other employement when I left.
