Pros

Nothing compared to other global organizations

Cons

Top management and HR are doing lousy job towards their people. Unfortunately, top management started a transformation but we haven’t seen anything good since then. They started realizing they have extra people and started terminating their services with no proper justifications although these people were hired by same current top management. On the other hand, Top management are the ones getting great benefits and that’s it. Moreover, HR is leading negative politics all over the place. Global HR has been led by unethical people whom you cannot trust. They tell you they care about building talent and it’s clear that favoritism is still here and there. Seems the top management are in agreement of what is happening as they are benefiting somehow out of it. Looking at the company, we are not noticing any improvement either internally or externally even from its value aspect! If you are top talent, you may be easily attacked by top management because they would like to keep their long-term seats. For some of them being for more than 20 years in their top positions, I wonder what more value they are adding. A question that should be clearly answered by board if they are objective enough. Of course, if you are relative or a friend to one of the top managers, you can easily find a good and long-term place in the company.

Pros

I cannot think of even one pro to working at Hikma.

Cons

Hikma is run by Jordanians who instill FEAR into their employees. They only want people whom they can control. Keep your mouth shut if you have any concerns or be prepared to be retaliated against i.e. "retaliation" in the guise of "restructuring."
