Pros
Some nice co-workers. Nothing else.
Cons
Hilco will try to sell you anything, the moon, the stars, a wonderful culture, growth opportunities, supportive management, etc. Then you'll very quickly realize that you will never get any of these things. What you will get is a clueless, weak management team trying to cover up their own failures and weaknesses who will not hesitate to throw you under the bus to save themselves. There is zero accountability for management, but you can guarantee they will be all over you for any little thing. Management sets employees up to fail. They don’t provide you with the training, the tools or the support you need to do the job properly. Then they blame YOU for any and all problems that arise. It is extremely stressful. If a company is constantly going through employees (as this one does) and the same issues continue, then clearly management is the problem, not the employees. They also slap band-aids on any and all issues without dealing with the root causes and expect things to change. They are then continually and inexplicably surprised and angry when they don’t. It is insanity here and not likely to change anytime soon especially with new ownership by a private equity firm where numbers are everything and employees mean nothing.
