Pros

From day one, HillPointe has been an incredibly welcoming and supportive place to work. The leadership is genuine, approachable, and truly invested in both employees and residents. The interview and onboarding process felt natural, respectful, and well thought out, which immediately set the tone for the company culture. HillPointe stands out in this industry by being open to new ideas, encouraging growth, and doing things the right way rather than the easy way. The consistent positivity, encouragement, and teamwork create an environment where employees feel valued and motivated. Most importantly, the company sincerely prioritizes residents over profit, leading with humility and integrity—something that is rare and incredibly refreshing in property management.

Cons

At this time, there are honestly no significant cons to note. If anything, the only adjustment has been learning and adapting to a higher standard and a more people-first approach than I have experienced elsewhere in the industry, which has been a positive and rewarding change.

Pros

My property had a great team- my initial regional manager was very involved, attentive and available when I needed assistance. Leasing Managers make their own schedule- HOWEVER you will usually find yourself working more than 40 hours a week.

Cons

After resigning from my position, I never received my earned bonus for move-ins from the previous month, totaling $1,900. Despite repeated attempts to reach out to HR and Payroll, my emails were ignored, even with several managers CC’d. At this point, I will have to pursue legal recourse to recover the funds I earned for exceeding move-in targets in February. My experience has made it clearer why employees may leave.
