Long hours, zero leadership, constant change and confusion, lack of direction, etc.
CEO is a loose cannon and the definition of a sociopath. He will say one thing and do the complete opposite. You will be assigned tasks with unrealistic deadlines and are shamed for not staying up late or working all weekend to complete. The direction of the company changes nearly every-other-week. Employees put in 70+ hour weeks and work through weekends on a project or task while the CEO goes on 3-4 hour bike rides in the middle of the day. You will be told that you are a leader in the company and everyone has a voice, but I CANNOT stress enough how that is NOT the case at all. He will tell you how much he appreciates your hard work and dedication one week and tells you the opposite the next.
If there is one thing you take away from this review it's this: In the last two years, the employee turnover rate has been over 80%, mainly due to termination. Avoid HingePoint at all costs!
