Pros
The individuals around the company are great.
Cons
AI makes a great deal about supporting Mental Health, but in reality doesn't particularly care. I was told I'd be fully supported after suffering an issue brought on by workloads and multiple company failures. They told me I'd be looked after and my job reviewed to ensure I was able to continue with the company ("a valued member of the team"). Less than two months after returning to work, my role was taken away and I was redundant. Over the last few years I know of a number of people around the country who experienced mental health issues due to their job. None are still employed by AI. Senior managers seem to consider staff as 'kleenex' - use up and discard. I also notice salaries seem to have gone down for new employees while AI prices have gone well up. Fewer people employed and lower pay will mean even more pressure to teams. Many people are expected to work way past their hours as standard, with no overtime. Guilt used to pressure them.
