Pros

The Medical Benefits for full-time associates are good. There are some nice people who work there, but turnover is high.

Cons

Pay is not the greatest and you get a review once a year and a very very small raise at that time. Some of my raises have been .15 cents. And they act like that is great. There is never enough payroll to really staff the store, so those of us on the floor spend a lot of time ringing and then can not get done what needs to be done on the floor. If you do ring, they put a LOT of pressure on you to open credit cards. I try but I can't push someone to open a card with a 28% interest rate! Several times a year we have to move departments from one place to another and it is absolute h#&& to get it done. It's an ok place to work, I stay because we need the benefits.

Pros

it is a job if you desperately need one

Cons

management does not keep promises (e.g. I was promised $2 higher pay upon accepting the position and later was told it wasn't feasible anymore once starting. I was also promised a specific day off then last minute had it revoked because they decided to make it a mandatory day). management does not listen to or care about its employees, very unprofessional. store managers don't want to do anything to help, they just sit in the office. management let other employees slack off and do nothing and expected others to compensate for their lack of effort general manager was horribly rude and misogynistic. he threw a box at someone while visiting.
