Pros

There is always something to do, so if you like a fast paced environment- it's great. The associates are great people to work with. Certain managers are great work with. Lots of opportunity to earn gift cards. Every other month (or so) employees get 20%.

Cons

Full time is only 30 hrs. Pay is minimal but the work required it not. Certain mangers can make a day miserable. 10% discount. Schedule is posted usually 2-3 days before the week starts and you are expected to be fully flexible. Some managers treat the associates like they own their lives- expect people to stay late or come in early at the last minute and then have hours shaved later.

Pros

it is a job if you desperately need one

Cons

management does not keep promises (e.g. I was promised $2 higher pay upon accepting the position and later was told it wasn't feasible anymore once starting. I was also promised a specific day off then last minute had it revoked because they decided to make it a mandatory day). management does not listen to or care about its employees, very unprofessional. store managers don't want to do anything to help, they just sit in the office. management let other employees slack off and do nothing and expected others to compensate for their lack of effort general manager was horribly rude and misogynistic. he threw a box at someone while visiting.
