I worked in the technology side of homes.com in Norfolk. I left the company this year along with most of the people I worked with. The business doesn't communicate with the technology teams, this puts on in a bad spot and we are always playing catch up. Homes was a nightmare, we were forced to work weekends with no extra pay because the business over promised and continued to add scope to the projects. I was forced to go above and beyond my job every day and while I received a lot of verbal praise I never received any monetary increase. The pay is much lower here then anywhere else (at least for technology). I left the company because I truly believe thAt it's a sinking ship. If you currently work there, get out. If you have been hired for a technology job (espically in Norfolk) really think about it.
