Pros

As an employee who has worked for HomesUSA for more than 4 years, I have had the opportunity to learn about the IT industry. As with many smaller companies, the HomesUSA employee must be flexible and willing to "wear more than one hat". I have found the supervising staff to be supportive and encouraging during my time here. If you want to grow and learn, you can do that with this company.

Cons

You must be willing to work hard. (A vacation is something done outside of work hours.)

Pros

If dull work gets you down, you will appreciate that there is hardly ever a dull moment. Great supportive team to work with and learn from. The owner, Ben is extremely smart and knowledgeable. As a team we are encouraged to make suggestions about improving processes. He listens to ideas and will take action to get them implemented. Telecommuters are provided with everything needed to work from home. The work-life balance this provides is extremely nice. My supervisor is hands on, knowledgeable, and cares about her team. She is always very understanding and proactive in working around “life” circumstances. Could not ask for better management! The company generously caters lunch bi-weekly during meetings, as well as offers other employee "perks".

Cons

Must be hard working and a team player to enjoy working here.

Pros

Great team to work with for more than three years now. A great mix of people who are dedicated, not afraid to work hard and their efforts have paid off as Ben, the owner, is the #1 ranked real estate agent in the WORLD! The first real estate professional to receive a Guinness World Record for home sales. Just Google Ben and listen to one of his videos or podcasts and you'll get an idea of how smart and down to earth he is. He is willing to listen to a different point of view and if you back it up with facts, he's flexible enough to change his mind. Not typical in a CEO! But Ben loves the real estate business and his clients more as much as anyone I have worked with in the past. So if you are customer-centric, not afraid to laugh, work hard and be surrounded by really great people, this is your place.

Cons

You have to be comfortable working with a team and being held accountable for doing your work well. If you are not dedicated, loyal and want to be part of a high profiled leader, than this isn't the place for you.
