Pros

Quick Facts about The Documents Department: -The hours are stated during the interview process: 8:30 AM (12:30-1:30 lunch) to 5:00 PM, 5:30 latest if needed. This is a 37.5 work week. -Paychecks are received bi-weekly. -Raises are provided by moving up to Level 2, Level 3, and by additional raises provided annually. In addition, Homeyer provides bonuses to their employees (at all levels), such as in 2024 (last year). More Context for Documents During this Transitional Time: *The Documents Department is in a transitional period due to losing a few workers due to life changes in late 2024. *Through this transitional period, there is an urgency to communicate and work together as a team. We want everyone to feel welcome in our department and succeed, recognizing there are different learning styles for individuals. Training materials as well as well as 1-to-1 training with the Supervisor, who is currently the main trainer. This job requires juggling several tasks, with or without a low staff. Some individuals may not be a right fit for the job, but we'll use all tools and compassion to try to help. We urge the importance for individuals to ask for help; however, if an individual refrains from asking for help, there may be unsatisfaction about their job we cannot fix. Some recent perks from The Documents Supervisor within the last month: -An Additional Mini Fridge Provided to the Team (paid by Supervisor's wallet) -Snack Bar for the Team (paid by Homeyer, requested by Supervisor) -Free Weekly Snacks For the Team: Chocolate, Cereal Bars, Soups, Oatmeal, Fruit, Chips, etc. (paid by the Supervisor's wallet, to help us through our transitional period) -Illustrated Drawings (drawn by Supervisor) made for each team member with positive messages, to help bring a sense of community and appreciation. -Decorations such as plants for a more comfortable workplace (paid by supervisor's own wallet) -Other gifts given to team, small and/or thoughtful, provided by the Supervisor -Lunches Paid by the Supervisor for the entire team, when we have a rough week *The Documents Department (And Supervisor) recognize this is a transitional time for our department, in which work will be demanding. There are ebbs and flows. We will strive to evolve and make better experience for everyone. We appreciate the hard work of our crew (past and present).

Cons

*Transitional Period for the department; however, we have a small team but strong team. The supervisor will provide as much training needed for new hires. Communication is key. *Communication between departments could be worked on more, which can lead to bottlenecks in workflow. *The interior design can be rough: no windows, white/grey colors, so Documents tries to make up with it with decorations, personalization of cubes, decorations, art, food, and a friendly atmosphere.

Pros

Fun, educational, great benefits, kind employees, extremely nice CEO and very understanding boss. Boss gives a constant opportunity to express concerns and will check up on you in a timely manner. Grateful to have this opportunity. Love the work and social aspects of the job.

Cons

I can’t even think of any to be honest. Some may not like the constant traveling but I like it

Pros

Close commute, and comfortable parking, and that's it.

Cons

$19 no raise and with a promise to become a back checker more work and little pay, an hour and shortage of staff, and all the overflow of work and attitude from the current supervisor gets thrown at employees, at least in the department I was working in. I cant speak for the others. Awful traffic at night and everyone gets out at 5pm, Also it's a 36.5 work week instead of a 40.
