Pros

I really loved the clients I cared for, and enjoyed that part of my job tremendously!

Cons

1. Forced not to claim all hours worked 2. Clients are treated as money making machines, and not people! 3. Had theft in home when supervisor gave staff the key to our private quarters. 4. No staff available for respite. 5. most important.... the care and disrespect they had for the clients personally, financially, and not being honest with guardians. 6. The company lying to the State of Alaska on licensing and manipulating paperwork.

Pros

The management team at Hope are amazing people who not only care about recipients but also their employees. I have always experienced a respectful, encouraging and supportive work environment. I enjoy going into the workplace and also love the flexibility of remote in cases of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. What I love the most about my job is the difference it makes in the lives of those who need that extra support to enrich and enhance their lives. I feel like I am a part of an organization that makes a difference in the world around us. The most enjoyable part of my job is the people that my job bring into my life. I feel blessed in all aspects of my job and the co-workers at all levels that become like friends and family. Hope is truly a unique and wonderful place to work. I am honored.

Cons

The hardest part of the job; in which I do not feel is hard at all, is the need to be self-disciplined and self-motivated to do what is necessary and required to complete your job in a timely manner. Others depend on you to do your job so they may do theirs.
