Cons
After dedicating several years to this company, I left feeling disappointed by the lack of support, communication, and opportunities for growth. Despite my loyalty and commitment, I found that employee concerns were often dismissed rather than addressed. The work environment felt driven by distrust, where employees were made to feel as though they were constantly under suspicion instead of being valued for their contributions. One of the biggest concerns I experienced was the lack of an independent HR department. Because HR is closely tied to ownership, I did not feel there was an impartial avenue for employees to raise concerns or address workplace issues fairly. This made it difficult to feel heard or confident that concerns would be reviewed objectively. If you are looking for a workplace that encourages professional development, mentorship, and career advancement, this may not be the right fit. I invested years into this company hoping to grow, but ultimately realized there was little opportunity to do so. My advice to prospective employees is to carefully consider whether this environment aligns with the type of workplace culture you want. I wish I had recognized these issues much earlier, as I would have taken my skills and dedication to an employer that genuinely invested in its employees.
