Pros

The people! The best and brightest work here. You will make life long friends. Management used to be the best I ever worked for. Their Epic project (former Epic Analyst at Methodist) changed that for the worse. Employees are ignored, not listened to and treated unfairly. Work is not evenly distributed and people are leaving in exodus. Pay is low, and raises and market survey increases are peanuts. Wait till this project is over a d things return to normal.

Cons

Long hours with no concern for work life balance. No concern for the stressful environment. Employees crying, quitting and going on leave due to stress and workloads. No defense of employees against users who demand customization for personal reasons. One person may be constantly over worked while another may not be. Bring these issues to management is seen as a complaint and you are told to be a team player.

Pros

Great organization to grow professionally in healthcare operations. Strong focus on patient care, quality, innovation, and leadership development. I’ve gained valuable experience in physician support, operations, workflow improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while working with talented teams and leaders.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations and increasing responsibilities. At times, leadership roles can feel under-titled compared to the level of operational work being performed. Work-life balance can also be challenging during staffing shortages, major initiatives, or clinic transitions.
