Pros

Medical staff accepting of pharmacist in all positions. Good place to work and learn.

Cons

Management covers up for those who constantly make mistakes, and expects others to cover up for the mistakes. Management has attitude issues, very negative, very rude, "bullies" staff. They delegate their management work onto others, there is no support for staff in any position. There is never any praise for staff. They support those who make mistakes and make the life of those who do their work a living hell. There is no realistic understanding of what any of the staff do during the day, what the responsibilities are, in any position (clinical and non-clinical). Every solution is a quick fix, there is no long-term fix, nothing is thought through thoroughly. The management do not like to hear solutions from staff. HR department is not supportive of staff, they do not provide anonymous comments back to the management.

Pros

Great organization to grow professionally in healthcare operations. Strong focus on patient care, quality, innovation, and leadership development. I’ve gained valuable experience in physician support, operations, workflow improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while working with talented teams and leaders.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations and increasing responsibilities. At times, leadership roles can feel under-titled compared to the level of operational work being performed. Work-life balance can also be challenging during staffing shortages, major initiatives, or clinic transitions.
