Pros

Working here was great. The senior developer was an excellent mentor who would listen to your suggestions, whilst providing his own or improving on yours. He was never afraid to admit that something you had come up with was better than the solution he had to some up with. It was very easy to work with him and working together with my team was a breeze. There was also very good exposure here. I was able to work in C# (their language of choice at the time) and also SQL Server, allowing me to explore deeper in the stack than just the main language. My supervisor was very lenient with when I came in, so long as I had a consistent schedule. Working 10-6 was perfectly fine, as long as they knew that was going to be my schedule on a regular basis. Likewise, working 9-5 was also allowed. Working from home was an option a few days of the week which was also nice. They provided medical insurance with a small premium, though I never used it so I can't speak for that. A good amount of vacation time was provided, and last I heard they were looking to provide 401k benefits as well.

Cons

Development department was relatively small and made for a semi-uncomfortably quiet office, though that's more of a preference thing. I enjoy having some background noise rather than headphones while I work.
