Pros

- Some of the team members are really great. The work can be fun. There are some very smart people about that you can build great relationships with.

Cons

- Upper management has no solid strategy. They will gossip about you. They are dishonest and have low integrity. The CEO is totally in the clouds. They expect after hours unpaid. You will be micromanaged by people who provide little or no value to the company otherwise. You will not be appreciated for extra work, but you will be blamed if anything falls short. - The org structure makes zero sense. People will make more than you and have a higher title and have less responsibility or knowledge than you. - Benefits are not good.

Pros

You have the benefit of working remotely. That's it.

Cons

During my time at Humach, there were constant changes, especially to scripts and procedures, often within the same day. It made it hard to stay consistent, as we would learn one process and immediately have to relearn it due to the changes. Trainers and supervisors often said, “We’re all learning about this program, just like you are,” which wasn't comforting. Training felt rushed, with more focus on sounding empathetic than understanding the work. People were let go for minor issues such as not showing their full face on camera or leaving a mic on, even though the job does not actually require video. It was difficult watching capable employees lose their jobs for things that could have been coached. Many invested in expensive equipment such as Ethernet-capable computers, extra monitors, and storage upgrades that were not reimbursed. Overall, the environment felt unstable and focused more on metrics than on development or support.
