Pros
People beyond executive leadership team are very dedicated to the company. Very good middle and upper level management (with some exceptions). Niche product, with one very strong customer relationship. Good science.
Cons
Where to begin....leadership doesn't make decisions, fights between themselves and does not put the company in a favorable position to go to market. Success of company is tied to one customer account, and that's it. All other attempts to draw in new business have failed and any new attempts continue to fail. Equity of work is very unbalanced geographically, within teams and within project assignments. One team routinely works long and brutal hours while other teams and offices work 5-6 hours (TOPS) with long lunches, breaks to go catch pokemon (routinely happens with the CEO's participation) and routine and frequent catered meals. Support for overworked staff is almost non-existent and their value is completely overlooked. Bonus payments are again unbalanced, and even worse, are over promised underpaid, and in some cases, paid out incorrectly.
