Pros
The people at Hunter Douglas were the absolute number one reason I liked the company. Hunter Douglas is also a very supportive company when it comes to balancing your busy work with your family.
Cons
Very meeting centric culture. I was in meetings from the time I arrived until the time I left. This left the very early morning or my lunch (if I didn't have a meeting) to try to do my actual work. The company runs VERY lean. I believe that the more lean we got, the more work there was for fewer individuals and thus.....more meetings. I feel I had a lot more to offer in my area of expertise. Where I can truly say I made a difference in some areas, there was so much more I could do. Executive Leadership tends to hand down what they want more than listening to the experts they hired. I learned to know when to push, and when to stand down and found my balance.
