Pros

I joined Hunter when we were small and have had a great experience ever since, even as we’ve grown! Hunter fosters an environment of openness, collaboration, and professional development. It’s been a great ride and I can’t wait to see where Hunter goes next!

Cons

This isn’t a big corporation so naturally, comparing the resources & tools that Hunter can provide to any other company would not be comparable. Hunter does provide all the tools that you need to be successful, though. I’m fine not having my own licenses for tools as long as we can share. Sharing and being a team player are key!

Pros

You're treated like an adult, therefore you should act like one! In contrast to other "adult jobs" I've had in the past, I was actually always treated like a child... I couldn't do anything without asking for permission first and my leadership never seemed to trust anyone. At Hunter, I have big responsibilities and respectable clients that need me and my help. It makes me feel like I'm making a difference and that I'm being trusted because of the reputation that our Managing Partner has cultivated through his client partnerships. At Hunter, I have "Recruitment Partners" on my team and within the organization. People I can count on and people that have the same vision that I do. What more could you ask for?! We're not a BIG company. But, that's ok (+ not a lot of overhead). I don't mind being small and growing into something even GREATER!

Cons

If you prefer working in a buzzing office with desks, and printers, and copy machines, then Hunter is not your place of employment. We do, however, cultivate a culture of connectivity! So, we make up for not being physically together by connecting together regularly, via video or phone.
