A Circus - Anonymous employee Hydse Employee Review

This is the most unprofessional company I have worked for. You report to some accounts who cannot even give a proper brief. They will ask you to Google client logos and photos for FAs. What the fun! My review emphasised on me always “leaving on time” (they say they exercise flexitime) but I was expected to stay as late as those who came to office at 11am and start work at 12nn even though I reach from 8:30-9am. My review also states that I should work on winning the team’s trust (eg to be liked by those who don’t even like themselves). When asked what were the things that I didn’t deliver properly other than I am not well-liked, MD said oh let me search back and I will get back to you on that. My review also lectured me on work life balance and saying I am not doing enough for work. That I am being paid $$$$ so they are expecting me to sell my soul for that amount. If you have children or you practice work-life balance, don’t even look here! If the accounts cannot make it, they will scrap off your entire artworks that you spend days working on. But if accounts prepare properly, you can go die trying to make it for their deadline. I was also told that to create a yearbook from scratch only requires 2 days even if that has to be done during my off days. Long service award here is 3 years. Lol. And you will get “privileges” when you earned “the like and approval” of some “key people”. Believe me, not worth anything. During my interview, I asked why the company name. The owner don’t even know why! hahahaha! Just to sound angmoh. Omg. Overall, it’s a circus. People get promoted when they date the boss even though they don’t know what they are doing. Manager that cannot even handle herself, like to drop racist remarks. Cannot work or talk with this and that race. But before she was became an instant manager she was a retail staff. And when I finally quit, their company policies all roti prata . Say will pay me until this day then become “no, we are giving you insurance only”. More days to be deducted because their friggin system is supposed to override MOM and none of that is nowhere in your contract. Basically, they think they are above MOM. The number of leaves, the prorating of leaves etc. Your system is only as accurate as the one who input the information. They just keep insisting the system said this is the calculation, period. And yup, all of those review before this are true. Good riddance!
