Really poor culture from top down. Finance leadership have similar cultural issues. I worked with a female senior manager who was promoted to senior director very quickly. She has an aggressive and sometimes bullying approach to demand results from the team, rather than leading with her team. She is only following the behaviour of other leaders in the business. This consistent theme is across the company. There is a systemic issue in the company, as there are many senior leaders with behavioural issues hiring or promoting subsequent leaders with a similar mindset. It is so surprising that senior management continue to ignore the persistent toxic cultural issues, as it really impacts on the bottom line due to staff attrition and also on the well being of employees.
