Pros

Some cool people and cool office spaces

Cons

This company does not value what's best for their employees. Since the new CEO took over in 2022 there's been two rounds of layoffs and it seems like the company has no clear idea as to what their actionable goals are. It was a common theme throughout both US offices that pay is very under market, and no raises were given in 2022 or 2023. No employee reviews were given either - no 90 day reviews, yearly reviews, nothing. Recruiters will lie to you and say there's opportunity for merit increases and room for advancement when there isn't. No cost of living adjustment to wages were given either - meaning everyone working here took a massive pay cut this year. Additionally, the job descriptions are not as advertised. You will be asked to do things way beyond your pay range, with hardly any training given, and no compensation or recognition after the fact. Managers seem to be very tone deaf and will not communicate anything regarding the health of the company to their teams. There's no Learning and Development department, which made everything very hard to figure out as there is no solid process or training for anything - giving a very choppy experience for everyone. This is apparent to clients as well, and in turn reflects poorly on the company. Invest in training, it's desperately needed. The company seems to be more concerned with decorating the office for pride month and diversity days than with retaining employees. They try to mask the horrible morale with pizza and corny office events, but when you pull back the curtain you'll see that the majority of people working here are actively looking for a way out.

Thank you for your feedback. Under the current CEO, who began with the business in mid 2022, we've made two restructuring activities that unfortunately have involved laying off staff. Both times were due to misalignment with client revenue and in an effort to staff the business in areas of growth. While the business may have been political in the past, current leadership recognized this and is very much metric driven in an effort to not allow favoritism. Advancement and growth is purely based on merit and proven deliverable/success on individuals part. While we appreciate your thought that senior leadership is disconnected, the business may need to do better at helping you to understand the direction and strategy that was put in place as the business is evolved into a a deeper, more client obsessed creative technology business. The business has, and continues to change our go to market messaging. instead of being two separate businesses of performance marketing and investor relations communications, we have layered in both a deeper creative and creative production element as well as technology product offerings that solve problems for clients. We encourage colleagues and anyone considering joining the company to ask specific questions about the direction of the company if it's not fully understood as the direction has been communicated, is focused and is well underway. We have also communicated to staff that over the past year we've been implementing a new HCM tool that will include both a robust performance appraisal tool as well as learning tools from which we can build curriculum. While always our goal to provide merit increase to everyone each year, the past year saw client reductions that forced the business to alter past methodology of 'increases for all". Client growth is the key to success and with that success everyone benefits. Thank you again for your feedback.

Pros

IDX gives you room to actually do your job. The leadership team trusts experienced people to think, challenge ideas, and make decisions instead of micromanaging. Collaboration across teams is real, not just something talked about in meetings. Smart people, solid process, and a genuine push to adapt as marketing and AI continue to evolve. If you care about outcomes and not just optics, this is a good place to work. There’s also a healthy respect for work life balance, especially compared to many agencies. Expectations are clear, communication is direct, and performance is measured on impact rather than hours logged.

Cons

Like most growing organizations, things can move fast and priorities can shift. That can be uncomfortable if you need everything perfectly defined before moving forward. Some processes are still evolving, which is the tradeoff for not being overly rigid.

Pros

The culture here is a standout. People are genuinely collaborative, helpful, and respectful of each other’s time. As a Project Manager in a performance marketing environment, I’ve appreciated how cross-functional teams partner to solve problems quickly and keep work moving. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and there’s a healthy emphasis on work-life balance, which makes it easier to do great work without burning out.

Cons

There is a documented 30-day ramp for new hires, which is helpful, but the learning curve can still be steep depending on the role/team. You need to be a strong self-starter to consistently hit that timeline, and some processes are learned through experience rather than through fully standardized, role-specific training.
