Pros
Majority of coworkers below management were very supportive. I appreciated their help so much in trying to find balance.
Cons
I do not recommend this workplace in the near future. I was advised with sufficient staffing the workload and the atmosphere would eventually change for the better, however the amount of stress at the workplace is currently very high, and so is the turnover rate. If you aren't able to handle very high stress workplaces, I recommend avoiding this company at this time. Maybe down the line it will get better. Similar to a below recent review, as a former employee, I agree that upper management was unclear and unprofessional during my time working there. I was put into a role where I was alone with only management to help. My manager was attempting to lead multiple short staffed departments at the same time. When I started, there was 1 other coworker on my team. This person left shortly after, and it was only me (with the help of busy management) attempting to run the department at only 2.5 months of starting the job. This was daunting as management would advise they are very busy (due to staffing issues), but could help me as a priority when they had time. I did not realize when hired, that I was going to be expected to run a department almost entirely alone by my 3 month mark at the company. I tried hard to keep up, but could tell no matter how hard I worked, I would never be able to keep up with the overwhelming workload I was given. At first I was told I was breaking records for how fast I was going, but this quickly changed. I would often fall behind and it felt shameful to ask for help, as it often ended in coaching for needing the help in the first place and "not being organized enough" despite the mass amount of notes and templates I made to keep up with the overload of information. I wasn't given proper training due to them being understaffed, and never got to shadow other departments so I wasn't able to see the big picture of how the company worked. This was one of the reasons I asked a lot of questions, as I was always confused by next steps. The lack of training was then placed on me, and I was told I was not able to handle the workload which they said "halted" my further training to add additional duties to my workload. Although I was very new, I was advised I asked too many questions which was confusing and discouraging (which again was mentioned in another recent review). Again, as mentioned in a recent other review, coworkers would go to management to tell on each other often. I received emails from management about things that were reported directly to management by coworkers, instead of coming to me about simple things first. A lot of what the other recent review mentions is similar to what I went through, which is sad as it feels horrible to go through for anyone involved. It is however relieving to see I wasn't alone, and it wasn't my fault despite being made to feel like it was. I lasted 3 months at the company, and left ASAP due to the toxic environment, as I had to prioritize my mental health
