With that few people, the environment was very gossipy and backstabbing was common. Management blamed employees a lot, and to save their job people pointed fingers. Since the company is so small, there are absolutely NO promotions, and many employees have not received a raise or bonus in years. Yearly bonuses or cost of living increases are not a thing here. Pay is not competitive at all and you will make more (ie like 10K more) as a contractor at the local larger biotech firms.
