Pros

They pay on time, however, in order to progress within this company, one has to "service" the HR. There is a free-for-all in a happy, swishy team, if you catch my drift, and if you fit in" you'll keep your contract. If not, sayonara! Their reputation has sunk somewhat over the past three years and it is not difficult to see why. The CEO mentioned here has become the Minister of Education, and even he won't Wasta these people into the population, which shows how bad they are. Horrible company run by effeminate men and butch women, whoa re all bullies.

Cons

Management structure, teaching ethos, back-scratching clique "head" (you read that right!) office.

INTERLINK Language Center Response
8y
The five-year partnership between INTERLINK Language Centers, a US organization, and one of its Saudi partners, English Gate Academy, ended in 2016 as planned. The emphasis of the program for the Saudi Technical and Vocational Training Corporation was graduates' learning of English. As such, great care had to be exercised in the selection, training, and support of instructors. Apparently, your needs were not met and about this we are sorry. Since it has been at least two years since you were with the program, we hope you have found satisfaction in subsequent employment.

Pros

Vision, mission, values have grown from solid education theorists. Teaching requirements are in sync with organizational values. Student learning is the most important reason to teach. Class sizes are small.

Cons

Visas to the United States for purposes of learning English are difficult to come by.

Pros

INTERLINK Language Centers has great values, and their idea of language learning (including curriculum) is interesting and rewarding to be a part of.

Cons

The employee benefits are not always the greatest, particularly insurance benefits. Employee salary benefits improved in the years that I spent there, though compared to other IEPs, it is in the lower side. Locations are not always ideal. Career advancement opportunities are very few.
