Pros
The role itself had a lot of potential and had a real scope to contribute to the business. Day-to-day colleagues were supportive and collaborative, and I learned a lot working alongside them.
Cons
In my experience, management struggled to meet the challenges the business was facing. A lack of clear direction contributed to several capable colleagues leaving during my time there, which I felt created gaps in some teams.
I also felt there was limited transparency from leadership, which, in my experience, created a culture where people were hesitant to make decisions, and even straightforward approvals sometimes took a long time to get through.
The company had access to good technology, but in my experience, the way it was implemented felt outdated, which sometimes made everyday tasks more difficult than they needed to be.
I also felt that the absence of clear operational frameworks contributed to teams working in silos, and at times, it seemed that effort went into projects that didn't always address the most pressing needs.
