Pros

Once you get through the interview process this is a great company to work for. Pay is fair but not overly generous. Managed to hit the 50th percentile with the bonus element included. Benefits are good but there does not appear to be a share purchase scheme for employees in the UK. Pension scheme is good and above average. Moving to new offices in Paddington which are very tasteful and contemporary style of working (via an App) On site restaurant with large menu available, free of charge.

Cons

Interview process was slow with very little communication in between meetings. I had 3 interview processes running in parallel and Ipsen was my first choice. However if another offer had been forthcoming sooner I may have taken it. With the move from Slough to Paddington imminent, "new hires" since last September don't receive the allowances for travel and parking, which is offered to existing employees. Bit stingy in my opinion. We are all incurring massive commuting and parking charges daily. New Paddington offices, you are offered a £12.50 day allowance on Just Eat but it is very limited (3 vendors) and very restricted for those with serious food allergies and intolerances.

Pros

Ipsen continues to offer a mission‑driven environment where teams are genuinely committed to improving outcomes for patients and society, and that sense of purpose shows up in the day‑to‑day culture. Collaboration across functions is strong, and there are meaningful opportunities to contribute to strategy, development, and cross‑functional problem‑solving. We have an amazing team filled with valuable talents.

Cons

The pace of change and evolving priorities can sometimes create ambiguity, and some processes still require tighter alignment to reduce friction and improve consistency. Development pathways and communication around long‑term strategy can feel uneven depending on the team. However, Ipsen remains a place where impact, collaboration, and purpose are real strengths, with room to continue strengthening operational clarity and consistency as the organization grows, which is an achievement.

Pros

Some nice colleagues. Good perks.

Cons

High leadership turnover and lack of transparency and direction. A few toxic individuals are running the show, promoting inexperienced employees at the expense of competent ones.
