Pros
Ipsen is attentive to its employees' development and professional fulfilment. I joined in 2020 as an intern, with clear carrier goals and I felt supported at every step, transitioning from my internship to a VIE in Boston to a full-time position in France. These contracts changes had significant administrative burdens in which I felt very well supported by the team and my HR business partner. I've been very happy with my experience at Ipsen so far (4 years) and I recommend this company.
Cons
Being a VIE in the US can be challenging in terms of compensation which is far off the compensation a full-time employee would receive for the same position, role and responsabilities (this is more linked to the VIE program than Ipsen itself). Also, being considered as an "external consultant" can be frustrating given the responsabilities you are given.
