Pros

Can make your own schedule No holidays or weekends ( unless a patient needs a virtual training) WFH 2 days a week All virtual/ no in home visits Upon hire you are ‘spoiled’ with goodies from the company and customer. Great support system from team mates. Very welcoming environment. Direct managers are awesome to work with- upper management has lost complete sight of day to day.

Cons

In office 3 days a week. Must be in office on Wednesday. Constant Employee turnover and absolutely no introspective look as to why nurses are leaving. No employee loyalty incentives. Bonus is based on meeting certain goals- in order to meet those goals you will have to work weekends and holidays. Cannot expense home office equipment ie extra iPad stand, ring light ( virtual engagements are pushed). The nurse ambassador program is NOT treated with the same perks as the rest of IQVIA employees- if you hear someone raving about the unlimited PTO, remote work, work/life balance, company paid dinners/holiday parties/team building events- they are not nurse ambassadors. For a company that makes billions of dollars- they do not budget for retaining nurses.

Pros

Resources and access to good studies to be successful in research, immediate PTO benefits, 401k match.

Cons

Growth opportunities/compensation - besides the annual merit raises of <3 percent I haven’t gotten a raise in 5 years.

Pros

The layoffs were handled quietly and unexpectedly, even though there were some early signs. They didn’t share who else was affected, but it was clearly more than just me.

Cons

They’re doing layoffs in phases, and my position was part of the most recent round.
