We’re very proud to have expanded into the U.S. and Canada in the last few years, where driving organic growth and developing our Go-To-Market and Product strategy in North America is a core focus for IRIS and one of our four key priorities for FY24. We’re delighted that each month our senior leadership team in the Americas hold an All Hands call, which welcomes new hires, gives important updates across Sales, Marketing, Product and Engineering, and Operations, and provides a Q&A section. In our November All Hands we highlighted our mission as a business, where we are investing, and what our goals are for the future.
We’re also delighted to have been recently certified as a Great Place to Work® in the U.S. and Canada, and this is thanks to our employee’s fantastic anonymous feedback. To ensure IRIS is a great and fun place to work, we’re proud to run a variety of events for example, this year we ran our global IRIS 2 IRIS distance challenge. This month-long distance challenge encourages employees to collectively ‘move’ about 26,849km – the distance between all our offices, from Ancaster, Canada to Sydney, Australia. This was a great way to promote wellbeing and fitness, bring all IRISians together, and raise money for good causes. Every time we reached a new office, we posted fun facts about that office. We were also excited to launch our new ‘Cooking with’ series, a cook-along video call where employees can learn more about the holidays celebrated in each IRIS region through traditional dishes inspired by IRISian family recipes. We were delighted to kick off this series in the U.S. with one employee sharing 5 different side and dessert recipes for Thanksgiving.
