Pros
New office with nearby restaurants, that's about it...
Cons
Where to begin... First off, the three heads seem unqualified for their positions. Seems like they don't know how to organize the company or figure out things when something out of the normal happens. The company is running on the hard work of employees, that most of the time goes by unnoticed. In just a month, 3 people quit. There was a total of 5 people who left in just one year this year! I've overhead people say that the average span of a PM is 2 yrs before leaving and when a person has been there 6 yrs, that is "a long time" for someone to be in one place so expected that they want to leave (words said by the president). Quite a few people are having to do double jobs of a project manager and another type of "management role" like a vendor manager, client relations manager, training manager, technology manager, social media and production coordinator. It's practically impossible to do two full time jobs as one, no extra compensation offered for taking on more roles so not even worth wanting to move up in the company. You're practically left to figure it out on your own and when you're getting slammed with PM work there's no one that can help. You're stuck working overtime to finish all the projects. I see people say that it is diverse in culture, but it is not comfortable. You see clicks, especially in the Chinese group. There should be respect and professionalism, but you feel uncomfortable when you're the only one in a room that doesn't speak the same language and it seems like the people are talking about you or sometimes you feel excluded. The president again has commented and sent AN EMAIL saying that he sees no problem with people doing that. Work life balance is non existent. Open enrollment period feels like it's all year round but heads don't see it that way or don't notice. IT is a pain to contact and work is so sloppy. HR is remote and not in the office. Not really anyone there to talk to if you're having any problems. Payroll is handled by the president, there's no professional taking care of your pay AND benefits, so expect issues. There's no split between vacation and sick time. So if you're sick and need a day off, no more vacation.
