Pros
The coworkers are nice, Helpful. Management ore snakes in sheep's clothing. It's a good place to start if you're fresh out of school, extensive training. Always training "new" services. They promote from with in.
Cons
The benefits are horrible, near non-exisent; they now offer PTO: accrue 1.2hrs/paycheck equalling 32hours a year BUT you can only take 4hrs/day! There's not enough work for you to even afford to take a day off. There is a high turn over for all staff, including MGMT. Especially MGMT! Fire MGMT like it's a past time. Favoritism, if they don't like you, they'll do everything they can to fire you. They try to book their fav employees first and all up instead of spreading out the service. The pay is very low for their 5-star standard. Apparently, they can also not afford to buy products we need to provide the service. For instance, they never buy new nail polish, they're old and separated, even changed colors. There is a 20-22% "service fee" they tell the guest it is our tip. So guest don't tip any additional. We get 18% plus $10/hr. The spa gets the entire amount from the service and 2% of the service fee. $120 for the service, $24 service fee= 21.60 + 10 for me, 120 + 2.40 for them. Not fair. Not fair at all. Really stepping on the little people.
