Great place to work - Credit Analyst IVO Capital Partners Employee Review

Highly rewarding experience! Pros I had the great opportunity to work at IVO Capital in the Mexico office as a credit analyst. I enjoyed working directly with the senior analyst and the portfolio manager on a daily basis and being involved in the decision making process from day 1. They taught me a lot about the high yield market, especially in emerging markets, and always asked for my opinion on an investment opportunity. IVO Capital is a great place to learn and to make an impact. I was highly encouraged to source new investment opportunities and felt free to share my ideas. I also had the amazing opportunity to participate in the JP Morgan High Yield Conference in Miami. The portfolio manager and the team are very friendly. We often had casual team lunches once a month to catch up and talk about other things than work. They also helped me a lot getting used to the lifestyle in Mexico. I had a great work/life balance which allowed me to travel all over Mexico and spend time with my Mexican friends. I have very fond memories of my time spent at IVO Capital and my experience was an important milestone in my career in finance.

I cannot think of any meaningful cons.

A lot of work from different areas which allows to learn a lot. A lot of exposure.

Lacks structure in sp office (3 people office). Spend a great deal of time with administrative tasks due to small office.
